    Who do you get a solid position W/shooting sticks?

    Be careful not to back your shoulder directly into a tree or other immovable object. Calibers with significant recoil can hurt you badly if there is no place for the recoil to go.

    I have a TSN821 with both a 27LER and a 15-60 eyepiece. Almost never use the 15-60. The 27LER is great for both target spotting and for long range glassing. It seems to me that any time I could use more magnification I end up getting hosed by mirage anyway,

    I had a 661 and replaced it with an 821. I have both the 27LER and the 20-60x. The 27 is the one I always use for range shooting and in the summer when mirage is bad.     TIG welding on Remington 700 handle

    I can highly recommend HD Rifles HD Rifles. They do a Rem700 Bolt Mod either with or without a Badger knob upgrade. Chris Jamison pointed me their direction and I had two of them done. Work is excellent One was black, the other silver, in matte finish. Match is perfect.
