I've had several 25-06s and they all shot 53.0 gr of Reloader 22 great with 117 grain Sierra bullets. Never chronographed that load but the accuracy was/is very suitable for a hunting rifle.

Mine does good with H4831sc with 120 grainers.

I'd shoot em first...ya never know. I've gotten pretty lucky on more than a couple and had them shoot great without being bedded.

Love my VX5s too. I believe Leupold is about to release a 4-20x also which should be good for those way out there shots.
