    Let's get this forum rolling!

Thank the lord I found my lost brethren. I too use a 7 RUM, but I load it with 175 Nosler Partitions over 92 grams of Retumbo. I've killed 3 bulls with this set up at ranges from 50 yards to 465. It's a good round and does a nice job anchoring them. it is absolutely devastating on deer...

    45/70 blackpowder

Blackpowder cartridge is my true love and loading is about as easy as it gets. The number one rule is zero headspace, pack the case with as much BP as will fit. I even use a compression die to make sure I get a full case. I shoot a 45-90 and load about 80 grains below a 405 FP lead bullet...

    Why a high shoulder shot?

Great pictures and great dialogue. I see these high shoulder shots on VS and Outdoor channel all the time...pretty dramatic imagery. I still prefer the heart/lung shot as it doesn't waste meat, and that's really the deciding factor for me as to why I choose to kill versus buy my groceries.

    BPCR Club Minnesota

Does anyone know of any BPCR clubs or groups in Minnesota/Wisconsin? I'd like to meet up with some boys that share the spirit of days gone by.
