Thanks, the modified case is .002 shorter. But it measures the oal .129 longer.

Hi thanks. Ya know that makes a lot of sense but why does the oal gauge push the bullet .129 further into the rifling?

Thanks for replying, the ogive length stayed the same. What is longer is the measurement with the hornady oal gauge.
