I'd go with the leupold 5hd scope. It's lighter than most and you'll have a hard time finding something that has the clarity that this scope has.

I would check sami dimensions vs the ammo. I'm guessing this is 100% an ammo quality control problem but there is an outside chance its the rifle. You'll know after checking sami.

Eliminate the tool. Use a wet tumbler w steel media and a product call brass wash. Deprime, wet tumble, full size... Dry tumble to remove lubricant.
