IMO neither bag for an AK hunt. Look at Stone Glacier, Kifaru or Barneys. I have family in AK and many guides swear by the Barneys. I would also take a look at Kuiu and Nimrod. A huge determining factor would be what you are hunting and how and how long you are going to be out. ALso check...

I picked up a guide coat and pants as well as the attack pant. They have worked great in the Wester Wa modern elk and deer seasons. Seem to keep the rain and wind out fairly well. Very light, dries quickly and moves freely. Very happy with everything and will be telling everyone to look at...

Has any one out there tried any of the kuiu gear? Clothing, packs, bino harness etc. I am looking at getting some new gear and this stuff seems to be on par if with other high end gear like Sitka. It is also getting good review from magazine like Eastmans. Any thoughts?

Has any one tried the lock down by s4 gear. I have heard a lot of good things but have not been able to see if they would fit my 10 x 50 swaros.

Sounds like the Leica is the way to go. Does it have TBR for ranging in the mountains? Broz have you used the G7 yet? From all your other posts you seem to be very active with your shooting and trying different products

I have never used any of the Leica gear, how does it hold up in rain fog etc. Hunting and shooting in the northwest I could see all weather types in one day. In my experience Leopold has always held up well. Any thoughts on the Swarovski?

I am looking at buying a cheaper range finder to go out to at least 1000 yards. I know the G7 is the best out there, but what do people think about the Leopoldo RX 1000 with TBR? Any thoughts would be very helpful......

Does anyone have any idea were a big guy can find quality hunting gear. My issue is that I am 6 foot 6 and about 300 lbs and need longer inseams and bigger gear. It seems that all the gear I find is for short guys! Any thoughts....
