Are there lapping marks where the rings are currently mounted or only in the former mounting location as your pictures illustrate?

Would the BORS work on other Leopold Mark 4 scopes with different optics magnifications or is it unique and programmed to the 4.5-14x50mm LR/T. I could not find anything in the Barrett BORS manual

How is the glass for clarity? Any ring marks on the scope or scratches?
