I always use when hunting. Keeps out the rain,dirt and other matter. I'm using kids balloons now with a piece of tape around the barrel to hold them on. I've had both results. Shooting right through the rubber or with a brake they usually blow off.

I have numerous gun cases 2 eapelican, SKB Tuffpak 1050 Gun Case, I've used the tuffpak for three trips to Africa. Gun, soft case and clothing. TuffPak takes the abuse. I highly recommend it.

I bought a Fierce Firearms titianum action, carbon barrel. 300 Rum. It's a shooter. With a more experienced LR shooter it would do it better. Left handed too.

Nosler did have a better partition bullet when they hooked up with Winchester "The Partition Gold " with the sleeve in the bottom of the bullet. They really held together. I buy a DZ boxes if they would start making them again..
