Haha no RUM's! 7,000 grains in a pound of powder.....I'd be lucky to get 80 rounds per pound. On the up side I'd probably only need about 4 pounds to burn out a barrel 🤣
I'm thinking 25 sherman max @ButterBean what say yee? Maybe a 108gr apex at around 3600fps or 75gr hammer at close to 4k? I've seen data of 135 berger's going 3450fps below max pressure. @lancetkenyon I'd like your opinion also.
Dad wants a fast twist 270win AI and has for years. His pre 64" model 70 super deluxe Denali King ranch grade or whatever it is looks like when you first pour cream in coffee and is just too pretty to take apart and he will not buy another rifle of the same "caliber" unless it's rimfire then...
Yeah yeah yeah yeah...... I've heard and been threatened with that line from a bottom land farmer in Mississippi many many times! I'd just hate to hurt some feelings by adding 100fps to a cartridge just by crossing the Sabine River going west 🤣🤣
I just can't make myself pull this 25-06 barrel...
Our coyotes don't sit still. And I might be able to see 20 miles in any direction but the ground is far from flat. It's pretty easy for a dog to slip in and out of a draw in less than a second or two. Gray coyotes blend into gray broom weed and gray mesquite branches pretty well also. Shots over...
Sorry you are right and I should change my original post but im looking for flattest to 400yds and I don't care about fur friendliness....quite honestly id like to blow them to pink mist if possible! I'm also not trying to use a whole pound of powder to load 4 boxes of ammo.

6SS, 25SS, 25sherman, 6.5mega, 300mega with a 110vmax....... me and Phil have pulled this all apart lol. 22SST could be fun if it wasn't a complete disaster and you could get N570 or RL33 nuggets to fall into a .224" neck lol
Dad has one and it's a hammer! I've not seen a finer combo for headshots on cull deer out to 200yds! But if i lost a peice of brass I'd probably get cut out of the will.....and I'm an only child lol
