What is the MOST FUSSY cartridge...and LEAST?

20 Practical and 260 REM both very easy to get to 0.5” or less. Had 7RM years ago that was difficult to find a load to shoot 1”.

    .20 cal barrel recommendations

I have two 20Ps. One with Shilen Super Match, one with Criterian. Both 26” varmint contour. IIRC they are 12 twist. I shoot 32gr, and 40gr mostly Nosler and Hornady. Both very accurate.

Is the Love Affair Over? (300BO)

Yep, it's a one trick pony. absolutely great as subsonic killer. Most other cartridges that fit these platforms are more efficient and can multi-task.

Best way to pull bullets without damaging them?

I have both, agree completely with you. Hornady much faster.

Browning Medallion with really nice, figured walnut, B76 with great walnut.

    Who is the laziest reloader?

Me too, YZ. When I first got my M1 I threw light charges and trickled to exact charge on scale. Now I just throw the charge, seat bullet and go shooting. The GI barrel is not a precision shooter and my old eyes make it futile to pursue diminishing returns. I love shooting the old Garand.

    Savage Target Accutrigger

I have a Sav12V, .223, with the red blade. Occasionally it trips the sear, and it has to be recocked. Not often enough to contemplate replacement, but the rifle is one of my prairie dog battery and an occasional "click" on the trigger pull is of no consequence. Different story indeed if...

    Velocity vs Brass Weight Experiment.

It seem to me that small capacity cases like are more likely to demonstrate pressure and velocity differences based on case weights. I sort .223 cases by weight 1.5 grains. For example Lake City cases usually weigh around 5 grains less than USA or TAA headstands. The powder column is visibly...

Scope ring/base torque spec - Holy Cow!

Are these the Signature Zee Rings? I recently mounted large heavy scope using these rings. They seem flimsy, especially the skinny screw that clamps the ring to the base.

Rifles we wish we've never sold, and WHY!

I’ve bought, sold, and traded many firearms over the years, but 3 that I regret not keeping: Ruger 77RSI 250 Savage, very accurate, beautiful wood, Remington 722 .222Rem, ugly, poor trigger, but tack driver, Browning Abolt Medallion 7-08, good shooter, light weight.

    BUSHNELL, a solid brand

Bushnell customer service outstanding. I sent an Elite 6-24, 1 inch tube back for repair due to problem with elevation knob/reticle. These scope have lifetime warranty. Three weeks later Bushnell sent a NIB 6-24 Nitro scope to me. Impressive.
