Across in the UK there are a lot of rifles threaded 1/2” UNF, or 1/2x20. I have a 7x57 with a sporter barrel that’s threaded 1/2 UNF and it’s fine.
Just got a 7mm08 Marlin XS7 - will probably chop it from 22” to 20” and have it threaded 1/2 UNF. Currently unthreaded or I might not bother...
Hi all,
Bit of a long shot but a friend of mine is after a McMillan stock for a TRG-S/M995. His rifle is in .25-06 if it helps.
I’m in the UK but would ask that you ship to a friend of mine in TX.
Thanks,
Dr. S
Hi Kwe182,
A friend of mine is very interested in this, providing it will fit his rifle (he’s got a TRG-S/M995 in .25-06). He’s checking his other magazine when he gets home and if it’s the same he’ll take it.
He doesn’t have PayPal so I’ll pay you and ask you send it to a friend of mine in...
Not sure it’s made it to the UK yet but I’ll be very keen to try some when it does get here! Mainly for .308 but it looks like it could be quite versatile for other cartridges as well.
Hey again all. Stupid question time! I suspect it’s a no but could .284 Shehane dies be created by reaming out .284Win dies with the Shehane reamer? Seems like if that’s possible it’d be a far cheaper way to get Shehane dies!
I’ve seen quite a few in the UK but all with a serial number containing several 8s. Something like SC88888AB. Good info to know that there are other fake serials out in the wild; hopefully they won’t be sold as genuine!
Hi all!
I posted in my intro thread that I’ve recently picked up a cheap Mark X barreled action. It’s currently sporting a shot out .308 barrel but could accept a LA cartridge (which would probably feed slightly better too).
As I have a .308 already, I’m wondering what would be a good calibre...
