Most of the National forest around those areas are closed so double check before you go. As far as where to hunt. Deer will generally just move far enough to be comfortable. In a few years those burns will hold a lot of deer.

Correction. I was wrong about the 338 being shipped. Just stopped by the lgs and only the 300 wsm had arrived with rem factory bolt.

I ordered a 338 lapua and a 300 WSM. Both shipped and arrived last week. Haven’t made it in to see if bolts were supplied.

Quick search doesn't look promising. tried going to the website and its now an FTP asking for credentials to log into it.

Gunwerks has a buy back program. Give them a call and see what they will give for it. Might me easier than selling on a forum.

Just got some of the new carbon barrels. They are really nice. If they shoot like their steel barrels it will be a really nice rifle. Should finish sub 3lbs for a 26” #5 contour. I’ll follow back up after load development.
