Thanks for the info! I will play around with the calculator to see the changes. I also saw on long range pursuit where they stuck duct tape over the end of the barrel and it didn't change the point of impact at all. Glaze donuts....I'm going to take break at work now:)

The WI deer hunt is only a week and a half away. We already experienced some flurries this week. How does snow effect bullet drop at ranges 500 - 700 yards? Maybe not at all. I'm sure it matters if it is a light or heavy snow, if it does make a difference. Thanks!

Thats a funny song they play every opening to deer season. sometimes they play it a few days early. A friend of mine has a Ruger .204 with a leupy on it he calls "Death". He told me that gun has killed so many critters and that whatever he shoots with it, is dead.

Those are some nice groups SBruce. I was worried about the first cleaning/safety factor the most. Maybe there is too much emphasis put into break-in. I probably clean my barrel too much. I will use solvent-brush-patches every 30-40 rounds. Sometimes I will fire a couple of rounds and put it away...
