I took a break from shooting but I am getting back into it. I have an ample supply of everything I need. I won't shoot as much as I used to but will continue practicing. I would suggest more dry firing at the range and then some actual shooting just not as much s before.
I own one Cooper. It is a Varmint Extreme and is flat out ridiculously accurate. I would not hesitate to use one for long range shooting. You can't go wrong with a Cooper.
Thanks. I hit the range today and had pretty good luck with the 140 Accubonds. For some reason I am having better luck with them than the 143 ELD-X which seems okay since one day I might get drawn for elk.
I am finally trying to get my GA Precision Crusader in 6.5 PRC up and running. After months and months of searching the only powder I found which is suitable is IMR 7977. I have 8 pounds of the stuff and nothing else is available. This shortage is insane! Anyone using this powder with 140 to...
I own a few and everyone of them I built. I have not done any modifications to any of them after they were done. Do your homework and building one is so satisfying. They were not cheap but each one came out perfect.
You cannot go wrong with any rifle Cooper makes. Their customer service is just as outstanding as their rifles.
My Varmint Extreme is one seriously sexy accurate rifle.
My 6.5-284 loves the 140 Accubond. I recently switched from ballistic tips to accubonds for all my big game needs. The accubonds are just as accurate and hold up very well.
I spent 30 years as an LA County Deputy Sheriff. I retired 2 years ago at 53. I got out as soon as I could because the job sucks so much now. I got out of LA as soon as I was able but am still stuck in lousy California. Be very careful out there my brothers.
For my hunting needs I have relied on the Accubonds for quite some time. I used to use the Balistic Tips until the Accubonds arrived. Both are very accurate but the Accubonds hold up better and are just as accurate. If you are getting great accuracy from the partitions , I see no reason to...
I own an old Cooper Varmint Extreme. I believe it was purchased around 1996. Their workmanship is top notch. Years ago I was too eager to get maximum velocity for my 17 Remington and damaged the bolt extractor. I sent it back for repair as I needed that rifle for an upcoming ground squirrel...
Prior to the arrival of my 6.5-284 Norma , the 270 was my lone deer hunting round. It served me faithfully for over 20 years. Never missed a single shot with it. The 6.5-284 is just more accurate any day of the week. Took my first ever California antelope with it last year at 480 yards. I...
I forgot to mention all of my experiences with the BT have been using a 130 grain BT in my 270 Winchester. It has never failed me.. I now use a 6.5/284 with a 140 Accubond. I love it.
