Try H1000 next if Retumbo doesn't pan out. with 250's I'm getting single digit ES ddgo

To quote Elmer Keith " anyone that shoots steel at 200 yds or less with a high power rifle is asking for trouble." I had a 338 win mag 250 grain partition come off a steel plate at 150 yds and barely missed me and went thru both sides of an army wall tent. You can take that for what it's worth.

Sorry. First message did list 3400 fps. Should have read 3301 fps with ES of 3 fps

3301 fps with 180 vlds not 3400. On my 5th loading with same brass. Using magneto speed. I have proof the magneto speed thru my Ohelar 35P and they averaged + or - 2.5 fps

N-570 appears to be close to RETUMBO in burn rate. I started 1 grain less the retumbo load data and worked my way up. Hope this helps ddgo

The stw case and the 26 Nosler case are separated by one grain. I would THINK you should be Abe to start on the low end of 26 Nosler data and work your way up. Retumbo is really good in the stw and 26

Bore Ryder throat is shallow rifleings for approx .600 This allows you to shoot more powder and get more vol. also reduces the heat of the second burn from 3400 degrees to 1800 degrees.

I would use retumbo. That all we use in the 26's we run. Rams hot is pretty dirty

Let me know. We have tuned almost a dozen stw's with either Retumbo or H-1000 and had great success. All were 1/9" shooting 168's

You might look at Retumbo for the heavier bullets. Heat stable low ES and great Vol. fed 210m's or cci 250's give the best ES Ddgo

125's would be a better choice over the 100grs. Probably your best choice for your application. It's a good killer, Ddgo
