If you're just a hunter like me look at Bushnell's new Prime 1700 or the Nitro 1800. I have the Prime 1700 and I love it, it's lightweight, compact, clear and bright. Bushnell has a lifetime warranty as well.

Litehiker, I would think your feet would sweat more with the diving socks, or is that not the case? Also, should you go up in boot size with the diving socks?
My first pair of Danner Pronghorns (1200 gram) served me well for 7 seasons. I liked them so much that I bought 2 more pairs. My current Pronghorns are in their 8th season and I still have one new pair that I will more than likely break in and use next year.
As deep as the fireing pin indents are on all of the cases, I would measure the firing pin protrusion before I changed anything with my load to see if it's a bit on the long side. Call Ruger to see what the spec is.
