Have sighted in (4) 6.5 Creedmoors. Started at 40 gr H4350 and worked up to 41.5 gr behind 140gr Hornady SST or 143gr ELD-X. It was recommended to me and was moa. Haven’t tried any all copper yet, sorry. Start with a known good scope

We go thru more hamburger than anything else so now I just grind the whole deer into burger . Grinding is easily done at home and is the easiest part of processing an animal. The burger really improves when adding roasts and round steaks to the junk meat that hamburger usually is .

I hunted elk in Colorado over 30 years with Dad and cousins. Lots of memories. Still hunt white tails in Kansas with son and grandson. Congrats on the elk
