Retired from the steel industry since 1999. Prior to retirement I was the vp of manufacturing, co founder and one of the principals of Universal Stainless and Alloy Products. We produced 300 and 400 series of stainless steel, all tool steel grades and super thermal alloys both as flat and long products. As a teenager I competed in across the course competition and when I retired I competed in short range benchrest. I worked as a prototype machinist and toolmaker to pay for my education. I have worked on and built my own competition rifles along with chamber, fitting and threaded many barrels annually for myself and fellow competitors.
