Not a tight necked chamber custom is it? I experienced large velocity jumps and large pressure spikes and poor accuracy in a tight necked 22-243. Once I neck turned to give a good 3 thou clearance then all problems disappeared and accuracy superb. Matt

That left hand Sako 280AI is the ducks guts, but a fair bit of coin. But it's a lot of good quality equipment for the price. If you had to build that rig from the components it would cost a lot more. Shame about the Tikka though, they are arguably the best value for money new rifle...
