    22-250 twist rate

I will second that too... 1-9 twist(for 75's) or maybe 1-10(68's) I would shoot the hornady 68 gr hpbt match bullets, they have a bit higher bc than the sierras. Or the 75 gr a-max

    Heavy bullets vs.light bullets

Are heavy bullets always better,or where is the line between the two. lighter bullet with say a bc of .355@3800fps heavy bullet with say a bc of .420@ 3300fps I know energy is the big dif but some times the lighter bullet with more speed beats the wind better. This is more directed towards long...

    need help with 22-250 load

bigsal5353 Sorry if it sounded like I thought you had a poor qality scope, that was NOT what I was getting at.It was more so the power of the scope, which 24x should be lots. I have only a bushnell 4x16x50 on my 22-250 Rem,but for my 17 was thinking of one trying the new tasco's.

    muzzle brake comparison

I am thinking of putting a brake on my 22-284 and was wondering which brake would be the quitest. I will be using it mostly for long range coyote hunting so it will have to be a varmint type brake. I think I have settled on the Holland gunsmit brake,it is sloted instead of holes.I don't realy...

    Muzzel brakes

How does one clean a gun with a brake on it. I would think you would need to remove the brake,if so wouldn't you need to tourqe it on to a spacific tightness to keep the zero and acuracy.
