Sorry to drag up an old thread but I've been looking quite hard at the 300 ss. I have two very slightly used 30 cal barrels and am thinking bout cutting them back and chambering them in the ss. I have a model seven mag action setting here waiting on one of them. Any more data on the 225s...

This is awesome! I actually just posted on their Facebook page earlier today about some brass I'd like to see made and your SS line was on the short list. I'm glad to see someone picking up the slack of quality RUM brass and also the saum line!

yep. 4D had the reamer. They ordered it for me when i asked about getting 2 barrels for our builds. now brass on the other hand has been a pain to get ahold of.

I have a buddy who built a 6.5x284 on a savage 110. Savages are really easy to build and the prefit options you have are endless. His shoots lights out with 142 matchkings. On another note, the 6.5 saum would be awesome in a short action.
