22-250 load
I shoot a Winchester m70 HV with a 8.5-25 x 50 Leupold. This is the 3rd 22-250 I have owned and the most accurate. I shoot a 50 gr VMAX over 36.0 gr of IMR 4895 for 3800 fps.
My friend says it's haunted cause everything I point it at dies!!!!

Thanks for the replys, The 6x47 Lapua I am speaking of is a relativly new round. It is the 6.5x47 Lapua necked down to 6mm. In the 6br website there is info but it is all on 105-107gr bullets.
I am afraid I will have to go to a 6/284 or 6mm AI to get the velocity I want but I may...

I have used the 105 Amax 6mm From my AI at 3150fps on woodchucks and it blows big holes in them. Would not be afraid to use on Deer size game at all.

Once upon a time, at Knob Creek Range just south of Louisville ,KY and next door to Fort Knox. There were 10-12 shooters on the range and sombody said "Look a groundhog" Well most of the shooters were tuning up thier favorite Hog rifles so all hell broke loose. That Hog was shot to pieces.

Had the same problem,
I bought a used Rem sendero 25-06 and couldn't get it to shoot better than 1.5" no matter what combo I tried. I started looking at how the action was bedded and what a surprise I had. When the front action screw was tightened the barrel would move up!!! The factory bedding...

I think for my moneys worth I would sacrifice some barrel life for not having to go thru the trouble of fire forming brass.And sinse it will be a hunting gun and not shot except for hunting(after load development) It still looks like the 6-284 gets the nod. If I can get an 87 gr bullet...
