I will be trying the 88 grains of VV N570 on the weekend and will let you know the results i.e. speed, group size etc. The speed you are getting from the 285gr Hornady is impressive. Are there any pressure signs? I am using a Blaser TAC2 so it should be strong enough to handle the load Thanks...

Thanks for the response: I was going to start with 88 grains of VVn570. I have had reasonable results -about 2730fps with 80 grains of VVn560 but thought that the slower burning N570 and fuller case might make for a more consistent and flexible load

Has anybody tried loads for 338 Lapua Magnum using N570 Vihtavuori and Barnes 265grain LRX Thanks Chris from New Zealand
