Just an update for anyone who may be looking for an answer to this question one day.
The MBE-3 is too wide for the mini chassis and the chassis needs to be milled out.
The CFE-12 was a direct drop in. No milling required.
I know this is an old thread, but did you have to mill out the mini chassis for the Wyatt's extended box or did Manners at one point make a mini chassis (or do the milking) for the Wyatt's extended boxes?
I spoke with Manners about the BDL mini chassis and they will not work with the Wyatt's Extended box. Has anyone milled theirs out for the extended boxes? I'm looking to install an MBE-3 for the 28 Nosler and debating if I should just go ahead and order an EH1 with the mini chassis and have it...
2 years has passed, anyone having success with the 168LRX in the 28 Nosler? I just ordered some bullets and will start load development as soon as they arrive.
Cabelas had a sale on in September and I backordered a bunch of Nosler 168 grain loaded ammo. Completely forgot about it until now when I just received the email. Quite the coincidence. $0.80 cheaper for a loaded round than unprimed brass.
I had a couple Stillers, a TAC 300, and a predator. Sold them both before building anything. Went to the Bighorn TL3/SR3 actions. Beautiful actions! No flaws, no complaints, very happy with them.
I'm not too impressed with my Leica 1600. On a bright sunny day, it wouldn't range buildings at 880 yards. Bought a Terrapin X, used it to 2809 yards. The leica still goes with me hunting. Perfect size for the front pocket.
I picked up a bunch of ELDs, hoping my rifle will like them. Had good results in the past with IMR 7828ssc, and retumbo (with berger 195s). Working up a 150gn T-TSX load with H-4831sc right now.
