I just installed a level on my scope, can't live without it. My other scope had a built in one.

I had a scope once with MOA turret and a MIL reticle. Not good trying to dial in corrections without the math.

I'm putting a TPS 20 MOA on mine, finally as the range I was at only had up to 300yds, here 600 yds now. On the cheap and quick, get some gorilla tape and some rubber sheet and make a cheek rest. Or, go out and buy a strap on unit to put on the rear stock. Amazon has some great ones for sale...

I use a harris bipod in front and a homemade bag for the rear. I shoot long range 300+yards on the bench right now and its highy recommended, expecially if you are testing new loads out, you want to be as stable as possible for good results.
