    YOUR COLDEST HUNT?

Deer don't like the cold either, I was hunting years ago and it got so cold I forgot about hunting and started a fire, about 10 min later I had a whole group come in they must have been cold too so I took three of them home with me.

    Need some help totally baffled

My vote is for the difference in the bullet design when you pull the 180 gr bullet see if the brass will chamber before you resize it, that will tell if it's the bullet or the brass.

Cannot close bolt on CVA Cascade with handloads

After you seat the bullets double-check to make sure they will chamber some times an over-aggressive crimp can cause the brass to bulge. Glad you figured it out though. I found out the hard way when I loaded up some military 308 you need a small base die due to it being fired in a machine gun...

    RL 26 and lighter bullets

150 gr power points never fail me deer at 50 yards dead right there goes in the size of a nickel comes out the size of a baseball. It knocks them sideways off their feet and they never get up.

    270 wsm

I70 gr round nose speer works in a 270 win same twist I believe, I shot it just to see. It is about the length of the bullet, they say I couldn't do it with the same weight in Berger because it's too long. I bought a box anyway for a new custom 270 originally from Missouri so I've got to see it...

    Favorite deer rifle

Dad gave me a rem 700 ADL in 270 win when I was 15 along with an RCBS reloading kit, we knew the gun store owner from church. He said if u want to shoot it, u better figure out how to load your own shells. 40 years later I can kill any deer I hit with it with cheap 150 gr win PowerPoint bullets.

Reloading for Noreen BN36 gas operated 30-06

I use standard dies for ars when you chamber a load in a Remington 700 they won't chamber but they will in the ar. I have been loading ars with standard dies for years only time they wouldn't chamber is when you load them in a bolt action. RCBS regular dies with a lee factory crimp die are all I...

    Reloading Checklist??

I'm an RCBS kit guy myself get started with one of those. Buy your dies from lee the deluxe set for rifles. If you use ball and pistol powder you don't need anything more than the powder dispenser supplied, read the reloading manuals first, get a how-to reload book before you buy any equipment...

A little advise on pistol rounds please

get a universal flaring tool from lee it works on any standard round and is not caliber specific the layman dies are good but you have to buy one for each caliber. When you flare the brass make sure the base of the bullet goes in about a tenth of an inch, and u should be good. Lee crimp dies...
