The steel doesn't flatten out like the lead. Therefore, at the longer distances, the TSS will slice though the bird's neck and downing the bird quickly.

For accuracy I've used IMR 3031 @ 43 grains behind 140 gr Interlock SPBT. Around 2700 fps

try IMR 3031 @ 43 grains. It is a accuracy load. You may want to look at IMR 4064.

Try IMR3031 43 grains. This works well for 140 interlocks. 3 shot in a dime at 100 yrds.
