I bought this to use instead of packing my RRS 34L hunting. This tripod doesn't quite get compact enough to zip inside my bag and interferes with my rifle if strapped to the outside of my pack. It's been used very little. Asking $500 shipped in the original box

Cleaning up and clearing out some unused items. Selling my Nightforce Tripod that I had and used until I upgraded to RRS. It's been in the field hunting so it's not pristine but it's still 100% functional. Including 2 adaptor plates and the unopened caps to turn the legs into trekking poles...

I've seen a lot more primers popping up and staying in stock longer. SR and Pistol primers are available everywhere. LR and LRM are still a little harder to find at what you call decent prices.

I ended up going carbon to get the diameter for a supressor without the weight penalty. I've done fluted in the past as well and the cost wasn't that much different.

I really like the HTG tex stock. I run them in the Edge technology on both my hunting rifles. Both have the adjustable cheekpiece though.

I have a couple of twins to this one. Both a 24" 300wsm and a 20" 6.5cm. Trued, stainless m70's with proof sendero lite barrels. I went with the McMillan Edge HTG with adj. comb. I don't plan on ever selling mine. It's been a great stock and came out around 7lbs or just under.

Can he shoot off a bipod? Just asking because a tripod is less stable. So if he can't shoot off a bipod I don't think a tripod will work.

I do too, mine is set up in a mount. i use it for testing rifles since it has always been dead nuts reliable and really easy to mount on anything. I was kicking myself for not ordering a bunch when they were getting closed out.
