I have read to just use absolute pressure vs a combo of altitude and barometer psi. Could somebody explain this to me and help me understand the concept. I just got my setup almost put together 7mm, leica 1600, kestrel 3500, and shooter app.

Talked to leuopld turns out it was a mistake and the target turret they are shipping to me is 1/4 moa, problem should be solved, now I am just waiting for my barreled action from acurate ordinance to get finished.....

It was new in the box when i got it, so no modification that i know of. 1/8 clicks elevation and 1/4 clicks windage. I didn't notice until i went to order the target turrets, i asked am i going to lose elevation and he said no you will just have more clicks, i believed him and now i am...

I dropped it off at my dads house that is where we our going to glass bed, reload etc.. I don't have it sitting with me but it was the vx6 3-18 44mm with TMOA reticle, I ordered it online and it was suppose to be 1/4 clicks with 70 or 75 MOA for elevation. I wish i had it with me to check...

Ya I don't think I'm happy about it, I will have finer tuning but I will lose elevation hopefully I will still be able to get out to 1000 yards

Or I should say the kestrel 3500(it has temp, psi, etc) plus app so that's 200 dollars still saving you 300 dollars....or am I missing something

Help me understand why you would buy a kestrel with applied ballostics $600 vs a $80 dollar wind reader and a $10 phone app? It seems like you could accomplish the same thing with of course the hassle of one extra device.

For hunting if it does what everybody says, I don't think you can beat it...I'm in wyoming and think it would rock, I guess I just wanted to hear real hunters shooter reviews before I dropped that kind of coin.
