Like new, was on my 7mm WSM winchester coyote in Burris Signature rings with inserts.....scope is in good shape...has been hunted some, but not beat to death. I have pictures, but photobucket is not cooperating. I can email pics if you will pm me and provide and email addy...........$650...

^^^^^^^^this.........for my 7mm WSM, this procedure and a stout dose of H1000 yields some pretty good groups with the 168 VLD...........I think mine ended up liking the 0.050 range of jump......then further fine tune it down to 0.045 giving the best groups........

Well,it turned out H1000 was the winner. Right around .5 or so at 100.....these and the Amaxs shoot right with each other, so I have a dilemma....and they both shoot Same POI...

I would look at these here: Zeiss - Camera Land NY Look down towards the bottom and check out the demo deals. I would go with the 4.5-14x44 with the target turrets. Heck of a deal on a great scope. As to Sightron, they are good scopes, never have heard anyhting but excellent things about...

I would pickup a box of the 3 inch accu tips and maybe a box of the Barnes as well and try them, and I would not clean after every shot....

Mine does not care for the 2 3/4 accutips or the hornady SST's. It does seem to like the 3 inch accutips pretty good.....You might also try shooting it 'dirty' and see what that does......go maybe 5 or 10 shot before 'cleaning'.

Forgot to add...I ordered mine with the target turrets......

Optics are something that I believe you get what you pay for.........No experience witht the Elite 6500, but I have a couple of the plain old elites in 3-9x40 and they are good glass for the money.........That being said, if you have $800 to spend, this might be a better deal to look at: Zeiss...

Well, it is as I figured...the holes in the receiver are drilled off center.........Changed the base, and it still is way off. I did manage a temporary fix, talked to my local gun guy and he gave me a set of the millet angle loc rings, they have windage adjustment built into the ring itself...

If it is that involved, sounds like 150 is a bargain.......and I would be better letting my smith do it......
