At what range was that target shot?

    Let’s see those Smokeless builds!!

Yep, I have one, too; one of my favorites, after my SML, of course.

    Let’s see those Smokeless builds!!

Am I reading that right - a 350 grain bullet at 3900 fps? Hardly even seem possible. I brag to people about my SML pushing out a 300 grain bullet at 3000 fps. Would you mind telling me what charge you're using for that? Granted, it was 100 years or so ago, but the holy grail used to be...

    45-70 Muzzleloader????!!!!

Yes, this. Early American benchrest was done by breech-seating the bullets. I have a couple vintage rifles like this; a 38-55 and a .40 Krag, which is a 30-40 case with the neck blown out to .40 cal. They use custom bullet molds to get the best shape and fit. My .40 Krag has a 2"x30" barrel...

    Deer season pig

After over 30 years looking, I got one. Rare in NH. I'd love to go to the south for a hunt. 103 pounds dressed

    Let’s see those Smokeless builds!!

Yes, that's how I got started. Great shooting Encore setup from Luke at Arrowhead. Then I graduated to a bolt gun. The Encore is an excellent way to get into this.

    Hydraulic Form Die

I hadn't heard of this. Looks interesting for some custom brass forming applications. If I had one, I would definitely use a light oil instead of water, though. I have enough problems fighting rust without introducing water to my dies or reloading environment. The cost seems pretty...

    Arrowhead smokeless barreled action

No, all Luke’s stuff is .45

    Arrowhead smokeless barreled action

Not to denigrate any advice given here, but your best bet on it is going to be whatever Luke recommends. He is the expert on them.

    45-70 Muzzleloader????!!!!

I'm a big smokeless ML fan. Yeah, what Rem7mm08 and Encore said - Get with Jeff Hankins or Luke at Arrowhead.

    Let’s see those Smokeless builds!!

The multiple guns I have based on the Arrowhead ignition system, including one I built myself from scratch, shot amazingly well going with the loads I got from Luke. Well under 1 MOA. I never deviated from his initial recommended loads; never had a reason to. I'd say if you don't like how it...

    Let’s see those Smokeless builds!!

What I do, and I think most others do, is go by the builder/designer's recommendations. Like for Arrowhead, Luke recommends 80gr H322 in a bolt gun and 60gr IMR4198 in the Encore barrel. I just stick with what Luke says. The gun doesn't blow up, and the performance is tops. For my Savage...

Your Personal RESULTS with custom long range HUNTING rifles built buy a PROFESSIONAL?

Arrowhead Defiance in 300 PRC. 1/2 MOA out to 500 yd. Have taken bear and moose with it. Very pleased with the rifle. Performs better than "name" rifles costing over double what this cost.

Is it possible for the bore and the chamber to be non-concentric ?

It is absolutely possible. In fact, it's "probable", unless steps are taken to eliminate it. Most (and all custom) chambers are cut on different machines, at different times, by different people, than the boring and rifling operations. When the chamber is cut, it's a simple and routine...
