    Zeiss Z-plex reticle

    I just bought a new Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14X50 with the Z-plex reticle. (Love it) I'm not a long range expert, but was wondering if it was posible to use the distance from the crosshairs to the bottom post as a range estimator. Almost like a mildot? And if it was, how would you do it? Thanks...
