    Gaia

I've tried to use GAIA the last two hunting seasons, but find the interface is so cumbersome and not user friendly... Maybe it's me. I don't do Apple anything and it also shows in Android Auto, but again, it seems very cumbersome, slow and limited capabilities. I may have to come back around...

270wsm still alive and kicking ?

I've got a CA 270WSM, love it, absolute tack driver. The only limitation on factory chambered 270WSM's is the 1:10 twist barrel. When this is due for a rebarrel it is getting a 1:8 replacement. The 122 HHT and 90gr AH's sound like some proper medicine for deer size game. I have not ran into...

Tract Optics - Top of the line?

You make some excellent, valid points. I respectfully disagree on the opening line; "Not in the eye of the beholder". Each individual human will see through an optic and have objective visual differences in how that view is for them, i.e., clarity, focus, light transmission, etc. Without a...

    My nicest WY Antelope yet.

LOL... Great reference for measurement, easy to picture how big the horns are. Great lope no matter what it measures!

Hi Jason, noticed your 6.5 SMax for sale. Confused about what is exactly for sale as the more recent posts have pictures of a built rifle, but if I read the initial ad correctly, it was just for parts? I'm a lefty, so if the completed rifle is for sale, I would be interested for sure, please...

    500-800 yd elk rifle

No, not offensive at all, you are probably more correct than most... But, go somewhere else and beat that drum.

    6mm ARC

Great review here, rather lengthy but in depth. The takeaway is the Grendel retains more energy at distance, but the 6-ARC is a little flatter. Stick with the one you own, unless well, you just want another one which is never a bad thing. https://gununiversity.com/6mm-arc-review/

Starting out a young shooter, who's left eye dominant. Got questions..

Shoot to your dominate eye. As a kid (my story), I was taught to shoot at age 6, when my dad noticed me holding my head over the stock to look through my left eye when shooting right handed, he switched me to shooting left handed, I never looked back and was expert all but one year of a 24 year...

Help with a Tikka t3x in 300 win mag

I think the main problem with all the bulk manufacturers is adhering to SAAMI specifications combined with probably only the last 10 years an abundance of lengthy, high BC bullets that are becoming very popular. Reloading to SAAMI specs with long for caliber, high BC bullets for the most part...

Best long range rangefinder for the common man

I've had a Zeiss RF for 5 years now, great glass and 8X, ranges quickly and accurately to 1000+ yds on game, farther than I am currently comfortable shooting. Like some have said, don't have much of a need for bino's with the Zeiss 8X glass in the RF.

Why no love for Stag Arms?

Have had my Stag LH since 2006... just recently took it to get cerekoted and the gunsmith working the shop said it had the tightest tolerance of any AR he has handled in 15+ years, custom or otherwise. It's a sweet shooter and as you mention us lefties don't have very many choices, glad we have...
