I would look at the Remington 700 Sendero. You get a good action and stock and the barrel can be changed later if you want. Also there is a ton of aftermarket stuff for the 700. If it was me I would get a 300 win mag or a 300 ultra mag. That is just my opinion. Its your money buy what you like...

I have been looking at Surgeon action for rifle that I am building for my dad. The 591 is over 1400 and that does not include the bottom metal.
