i just loaded up a bunch of the 230s with H1000 for my 300 win mag, stepping up .5 grains at a time. Ill go run them over the chrony this weekend and post results. Im excited about those 230s for long range work, they should buck the wind great and deliver some real power at extendd ranges.

Personally Im a huge fan of the Horus reticle because I feel that when coupled with a good Rangefinder it is a lot faster to use than turning turrets. It also enables much more accurate follow up shots because you can simply place the grid where the shot fell exactly where you want the next shot...

Im looking into buying a new long range rifle. the savage Long range hunter in 300 wsm seems ideal but im wondering about barrel length. The Savage website lists the barrel length at 24 inches for the 300 wsm. Thats fine as long as the muzzle break isnt included in the length but if its really...
