The shotguns you mentioned are all good ones , I have a Remington 1187 that has been my Number One for years without any problem , just take good care of and clean it after each use and you should be fine . I wish you a Wonderful Hunting Season .

I have a 7rum and i don't have a brake on it although i've thought about it a few times . It's really a good rifle barrel life will be long as long as you clean it after you shoot it .

When I got first got the Rifle I now have had for years , I was a bit nervous but quickly learned to put a good hold on it . I held it too lightly and paid for it , I don't put a bear hug on it but I do use a good Firm Hold on it and as I shot it more I hit well with it .

You have a good Rifle in the 7RUM no question there . They are super accurate , it's not the Rifle . I have one and it's my Rifle of choice . When I'm at a range with it so is my Sweets 7.62 . I may shoot three rounds let it cool then clean it well with the 7.62 and it stays on point that way ...

For long range you those are 2 good calibers but I would go with the 7mm I always thought the 300 could outshoot a 7 until I had the honor of meeting a Military Sniper who took me under his wing and showed me the difference . He has both rifles also but his go to Rifle is that 7mm .
