I think you can...I have a 10 year old grandson that shoots my 300 Ultra mag(Rem Sendro) off a bench...off a lead sled....my gun has a break on it and he shoots it well...3 in groups at 300... the weight of the gun in combination with the muzzle break these big guns are nothing like the old 300...
