Any chance this comes down to match grade vs factory barrels or rifling type?

1st character looks like a GA Precision symbol. They used to have a t shirt with all of their symbols on it. The numbers may be the receiver serial number the barrel was chambered for.

Has anyone tried the one that the Backfire TV guy makes? It’s called the Backstop. Interesting concept. The pad is tuned to your rifle type, weight and cartridge.

Using ultrasonic, I’ve found that seating if very rough unless you treat the necks in some way. Annealing makes the necks worse in my experience. I may have a new Anti-X XM I can sell. It’s cut for magazines not BDL. Am I correct that you want to use BDL bottom metal?

If it’s bore cleaner, are you using a bore guide? I can’t imagine how that much cleaner could wick up through the screw holes.

Thanks for the reply. After I posted, I noticed the flat section on the Zeus vs the complete cone on the B. I was thinking the same about doing a modified cone. Not sure if it's worth it extra step though.

I just received my Zeus action and have a question about the tenon print. The print shows a flat breech even though the bolt face is cone shaped. In contrast, the tenon print for a Bat B shows a cone breech for similarly shaped bolt face. Any reason no to cut a cone breech to match the cone...

I remove and replace scopes about a dozen time a year. I have never had to rezero. I use high quality scopes, Badger rings, torque the bases to 65 inlbs and I always leave the rings on the scopes.
