    Picking My .300 WM Scope

I have had good luck with Leupolds. Don't consider .300wm a cannon.

    Idaho moose unit 67-2

Evenings are best. Hunt near water and places where it is relatively easy to get vehicle to. Moose are big animals.

    6mm Remington Ammo

The 6mm Remington is based on the 7 x 57 (7mm ) Mauser. Perhaps you could find some 7mm Mauser brass and neck it down, or have a friend do it.

    This can't be good!

Could it be a dirty/oily chamber, hence, case failing to seal?

    Boat tailed bullets

I believe flat base bullets are more accurate as long as they are sonic. Boat tail has an advantage because of higher B.C. and are more stable when they go sub sonic .

    E Lock or Dial

Several years ago I talked to a sales rep when I was going to buy a safe. He said dial locks had about 1% failure, and electronic locks had about 2% failure. I bought the dial.

Dead on at 100yds 4inches right at 400yds

My varmint rifle did this with one brand of bullet years ago. Changed bullet brand, problem cured. I think it was out of balance bullets causing the drift. Just my guess.

    Help with scope windage issue

Looking at the view from the top, it appears the scope is not parallel with the receiver. If that is the case, use adjustable rings such as Leupold and their bases or contact Browning about issue of base screw holes being out of alignment with the receiver and bore.

    Case Head Separation

You are loading 52 grain bullets, but attach Nosler info for a 50 grain bullet. A difference.

    Rem 700 receiver dirty

Could be the result of the bluing salts, especially between the barrel and receiver. Oil will take care of that.

    Reloading Manuals?

The Lyman is especially good for handguns and cast bullets. Many of the handgun barrels that are tested are 4 inch.
