I certainly agree with both opinions. If your looking to shoot 500yds or less, something with a little less punch than the RUMs will do the trick. But if you think you might try to reach out further, and you don't mind the stiff recoil, then the shoulder smashers are the way to go. The 7mmRUM...

Thanks for the data from both. Can't wait to try some loads with accubond. Maybe over the weekend. I'll be sure and post my results when I do. Have had good results with Scirrocco 180gr. and been wanting to try accubond, so here goes.

I am wanting to try loading the Nosler Accubond 180gr in the 300RUM, but cannot find any data. Nosler does not have any data listed on Accubond yet and I am not sure about trying the Accubond with data from their other bullets. Has anyone successfully loaded Accubond?
