    Sticking brass

I haven’t read all replies but have you trimmed the necks? I had a similar issue with some 284 Winchester brass I necked down to 6.5. Lapua brass worked fine, but had problems with the W. I checked the neck diameter of a fired Lapua case. Long story short, the W neck’s were too thick...

    Gongs, steel targets, need advice

I made modular A-frames out of #4 rebar. Very sturdy and very easy to mend if an errant shot hits the frame. I hang my steel from 4” baling belt or the hooks from old ratchet tie downs. The baling belt is the best because it kind of self heals and will take hundreds of shots (unlike chain)...

Not sure I’m buying into the hype

Some of the previous responses have touched on this, but in addition to the reduced sound signature, the cans can be used on several guns. For example, I use my .338 can on several .308 rifles. I use my .45 can on several hand guns and a rifle.

AMP - Will I regret buying this?

I appreciate the offer EE but I do not mind annealing brass.

AMP - Will I regret buying this?

I really feel inadequate reading these posts. I use a propane torch, appropriately sized deep wall socket, a drill and a bucket of water. I mainly anneal 5.56 and 308 due to volume, but will anneal any caliber that needs it. I keep my batches of brass together and anneal the entire batch at...

    Federal SP primers

For those interested, I have filed an internet fraud complaint with the FBI.

    Copper removal from used gun

KG12 copper solvent. Cred1 mentioned it earlier. Won’t eat up the barrel if left in it to long. Be careful to keep it off brass surfaces, like a Henry with a brass receiver!

    Federal SP primers

thank you. This did not show up when I searched a couple of days ago.

    Federal SP primers

No, but I could be out a few bucks I could have spent on beer.

    Federal SP primers

Has anyone purchased reloading supplies from Guardian Arms located in Corinna, ME? They indicated they had small pistol primers in stock and I made a purchase. The purchase process seemed a little confusing as they didn’t take credit cards.

    brass annealing machine

IMHO, Variable speed drill, deep wall socket, propane torch, bucket of water. Deep wall socket is a heat sink. I drop my annealed cases into the water and stick the socket into the water after each case. I have maintained data on this and have reloaded my .308 cases 1.2 million times without...

RELOADED .270 STICK AND CAN NOT CLOSE BOLT SAKO RIFLE

After reading all previous posts, I have the following comment (which is basically a compendium of the previous comments): KISS! Eliminate simplist variables first. 1) Based on OP, OP did not FL size. FL on RCBS requires cam over; 2) After FL, measure case length. Trim as necessary. 3) Before...

Bass pro shop has bought out sportmans warehouse !

I suspect this won’t be popular but did Cabelas or Sportsmen Warehouse have to sell? I believe in capitalism and don’t get me wrong. I was a big fan of both C and SW. Why was BPS able to buy them? Poorly managed or the owners wanted to “take the money and run”?

    Pressure issues reloading for Christensen

I had a similar issue with some 284 Winchester cases I necked down. Found out the neck tolerance was too tight. I turned the necks down and problem disappeared.

Best large cooler (that's not a Yeti)

I recently acquired a Cordova and took it on a 3,400 mile, three week camping trip. Made in the USA. Outstanding cooler in my opinion.
