What’s your five? 5 Calibers to do it all...

Rifle. 22LR & 22 Mag .223/5.56 .308/7.62 30/06 Handgun. 22LR 9mm 40S&W 45 ACP 38/.357 That should do me, but IF I must ditch 1 rifle, it would be the 30/06 (not enough ammo on hand).

Labradar LX - I guess they have an answer for the Garmin Zero. Maybe?

I got on LR's mailing list when they were first announced, the estimated price was $575. About 2 months later the price changed to $575 USD. I won't deal with a Canadian company that works in USD that's just a money grab IMO. IIRC it was about 2 years later when it was finally released...

    38 special hand loads

The Bullseye equivalent, much better IMO, was 2.8gr Bullseye, which was my PPC load. As I said earlier I didn't like 231.

IMO what it boils down to is what you like doing and what works for you.

    Case cleaning

I use a 40/60 Lyman treated corn cob and corn blast, add 4 used Bounce dryer sheets and run for 2hrs. When it takes 4hrs to get the same result, I toss the used media and add new, The dryer sheets remove a lot of dust and are changed with every tumbler load. They keep the media cleaner. The...

    338 Lapua - Best Brass?

When I was load .338LM, I tried Hornady factory to get some brass. It shot quite well (250gr) but of the 20 brass, I lost 5 or 6 to initial failure - loose primer pockets and splits, and after the first reload, all of them. I found the brass too soft. I was able to get 2 x 5gal pails of once...

Leveling your scope quick and easy

I'm in my mid 70's. I shot 1000yds at Bisley, in the mid '60's, with a #4 Enfield. I did use a scope until 1979. I have used many different methods including eyeball. I now use levels. I want the reticle to be as vertical as possible so that I can squeeze as much accuracy as possible. Back...

Leveling your scope quick and easy

The surface doesn't matter because the bipod he's using allows the rifle to rock sideways. The bench may not be perfectly level, front to back, but the bubble is in a curved tube so that the bubble is at the top when level. Hope this helps.
