I bought a 1187 sportsman supermag several years ago. I might catch some grief but it performs just as well as any other benelli or beretta I own lol. It’s killed a lot of birds from turkeys down to doves.

The Burris glass and reticle are terrible on the ones I've owned. At 800 yards on a deer the illuminated dot takes up 1/2 the deer or better. They are simple and fast, but the glass and reticle kills them at long range for a precise shot.

I'm a big fan of big 7s. I have a 7-300 norma mag improved. Jgs built the reamer for me. 92gr n570 running 180gr bib bullets at 3400fps. Very pleased with it. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.
