I'm a 300 person; 300 WB, 30-06. A little more lead for any occasion.

Older Weatherby 300. Use 150 or 165 gr on deer and 180 gr on elk. Found the best group with Weathby brand ammo. Tried Remington and Federal. Federal comes close to Weatherby, but always hunt with Weatherby brand.

Rem 760 .308 shot my first deer with. Could put thru rounds like a semi-auto. Our deer camp disbanded when my uncle died. Did not think I would hunt deer again. My wife told me I will regret the day I sold it. She was right.

Do not load. I use Weatherby factory loads 180 grain Nosler Partition. Took a New Mexico elk, 125 yards with the loads. Took 2 shots. One above the front leg, the other in the neck as the bull was turning. Dropped it were it stood. The Nosler held together well a few fragments, good mushroom...

Remington 870 Express Super Magnum is mine and my son's go to gun. Have the black model..easy to disassemble and clean. Still a good buy.

Hunting in N. Minnesota with my 308, used 180 gr because of the thick brush. If you hunting in similar woods suggest 180. Did find that 150 and 165 grouped better on the range.

Besides the cost of goods going up, the selection of items has gone away. I put things into wish list, 2 weeks later, " no longer available" no message whether it's discontinued or back ordered. Starting to go back to my local privately owned shops to buy what I need. There prices are now...

300, no comparison

How about the good ole Weatherby 300. Look at other ballistics and always come back to my Weatherby 300. Wide assortment of ammo and grains.
