    Tikka Talley Light Low 1"

Free to whomever needs them. They are brand new in the package. In September, I posted an ISO thread in an attempt to trade these for my wanted item. While a few offered up items similar and some even for free, Korhil78 had exactly what I needed and never would provide information to send my...

WTT Tikka Talley for takeoff stock

I have a bnib set to Talley lightweight 1" low to trade. Part number 930714. I cant text or email pics of package with date or whatever you want...

    Range/cleaning/accuracy questions?

For those who dont clean, go to several range trips or on several hunts do you at least oil in between? I have adapted the "minimal clean" method but dont have any before and after results.

How far do you drive to the range?

30 min for up to 200 and 1.5 hours to indulge in anything over but not exceeding 400 for steel and paper 8$ ish / session The latter has no RSO on the 200 - 400 range which I've grown accustomed to enjoy. Common sense goes a long way

    Purchasing mcmillan - tikka

Anyone have the lowdown on places to locate a Mcmillan for a Tikka T3X? I'm not set on model or color even for that matter. Finding it hard to believe the only distributors I can muster up only have one of whatever. Everything else seems backordered ..

    "difficult" calibers

There's a lot more to wrap my head around now than I would've expected when I started this. I have a 7mm rem mag right now. The plan is to rebarrel and I originally had full intentions going something other than 7mm rem mag. I'm open. I'm not a competitive bench shooter but not a bad shot...

    "difficult" calibers

No. I dont want want something that can possibly be that picky THIS go round. Perhaps I misworded somewhere. What you described is exactly what i was looking for. Thank you. Cartridges not finicky at all are 25-06, 270, 300WM, 264WM or 338WM. Others I have personal experience with are 222Rem...

    "difficult" calibers

Generalized response but which of the 7s? That's part of this. I keep reading "x" is finicky on reloads. I'm obviously new to reloading and would like to keep it somewhat simple but not crippling on my first build I'm willing to reload for. WHAT MAKES "X" DIFFICULT TO LOAD FOR? 6.5PRC is...

    "difficult" calibers

This rifle is currently a 7mm Rem. Accuracy started out bearable. It has grown worse. I've ordered new rings/bases and plan on re torquing everything once more. It has left a bad taste in my mouth and I'll take TINY groups for me to stay with this factory rifle / 7mm REM. Ive convinced mesyelf...

    "difficult" calibers

I should have clarified. 500 - 600 is maximum yardage I'd like to kill elk size game. Though I have many, budget wont allow for best rifle for this, that, here and there. I'm attempting to compromise. Ultimate goal is have the perfect hunting rifle that's most efficient at 1000 yard targets (my...

    "difficult" calibers

So which would you recommend and why given my circumstances? "Load for a rookie / easy to develop", accuracy, energy, speed, recoil and cost somewhere in order. 7mm in a t3x lite is minimal to me...

    "difficult" calibers

That is at the top. From what I've read, this is an easy round to manipulate and perfect. Part of the point of this thread is what makes one "easy to load" and I'm looking for examples with my given parameters... Why is "X" difficult to load and "Y" is easy to perfect etc. ?
