I have both factory and customs that shoot well. When it really comes down to a choice between the two sometimes,it's the stock that's on the rifle. The stock can sometimes make a difference in how well the gun shoots and how well the stock fits the shooter can also make a difference in how well...
I've had excellent results with TAC(44.5grs)IMR 4895(45.0grs),Varget(45.5grs) and Accurate 4064(46.5grs) in my 308 Win's with 165-168gr bullets.I've shot one ragged hole groups with those four powders.
I'd like to know how many times Hodgdon performed that 0-125 degree test on their publication. How many times did they repeat it?How many different lots of powder where tested?Same seating depths on the bullets?Powder charges may have not been suitable for the cartridge and bullet.Just way too...
I used Tung Oil to refinish my stocks. It takes days to do it.I hung the stock by the sling stud. With Tung Oil on a piece of cheese cloth, just wipe the stock down and let it dry well between coats. The more coats you put on it the better. It's really very easy to do,just takes time. The Tung Oil...
I've had a Teslong flexible model for about three years now.Can you predict how well the barrel will shoot? Not really, but it lets you see things you could never see before.I did rebarrel one rifle that was a poor shooter after the Teslong showed me bad problems with an a used near mint...
I have several Bell and Carlsons. They are great stocks. But like others,I bed it.Even though they have aluminum bedding blocks, the rear of the recoil lug may not make solid contact. This can cause you some accuracy issues. This is not just a problem with this brand,I find it with other brands too.
???????????????????????????????????????? Apparently there was a problem because Winchester had me send them back to them and sent me a check for them.Maybe you don't know everything.
Winchester did indeed have issues with primers I bought between 2008 and 2012.That problem is fixed now and their primers seat much tighter now.Contact Winchester, they can help you,we can't.
I have thousands of once-fired brass I bought from a ballistics tech.Like stated before, the circle is from the test barrel and does not affect the brass.I have fired thousands of rounds of this brass and I have never had one issue from the scribe mark on the brass. At $.18-$.25 a piece shipped to...
This is my recipe.I used this for the pork loin too.
I made some pecan smoked boneless wild boar ham and some pecan smoked whitetail tenderloin and backstrap.I break the hindquarters down and use the larger muscles.I used Morton's Tenderquick Curing Salt and let me tell you they came out...
I watched my velocity jump way up one day as I started seating my bullets closer to the lands. My load started around .050 off.Once I got inside .020 off the lands, the velocity increase was equal to adding about 1.0-1.5grs of powder. With velocity increase, there is also a pressure...
Boruit is the best I've had.It will run about 4hrs at max out put on two 18650 rechargeable batteries that are smaller than a C battery. The batteries are cheap and it' easy to carry an extra set if you need it.The ones I have are three white lights, they even make them now with secondary...
