Just returned from a southern South Dakota PD hunt. Had a great time mostly shooting between 500 and 600 yards wind at 15 mph. I was shooting a 223 reloads 69 grains over Varget. Shot 450 rounds in two days and probably 100 dogs are no more.

I anneal every time you will not do any harm and it gives me consistent neck tension. With an annealing machine it takes only a few minutes to anneal 50 cases so why not. I have lost track of how many times I have reused my brass
11.25 twist was a rifling developed by the US military for 175 grain bullets. They did a lot of research which is why it is such an odd number versus the more conventional whole number twist. I would look around that weight and find what bullet your gun likes and jump.
