Hammer Hunter Load Data, (See page 1, Post 8)

I’m looking for a load for a 300WM. I’ve looked through this thread and the actual spread sheet, and I’m curious as to why no one has tried RL19 for the 181HH. There is data for powders from RL16 through RL26 but none for RL19 which has a burn rate somewhere between those. I’ve had good...

Load work up for Double Rifle????

Great advice from the guys here re standing rest, the book "Shooting the British DR, and Accurate reloading forums. You may want to pay particular attention to 2 threads, "the double rifle bullet of the future" and "vintage DR and modern bullets" What kind of DRs do you have? Pictures are...

Is it Me? Has anyone ever seen this?

Thanks for all the replies. Just to respond to a few, I am using the same ammo as the rifle was sighted in with and the 1/2" guarantee made. When I started the last session, the bore was squeaky clean. The barrel was broken in as it was recommended. Next, to rule out the scope, I will...

Is it Me? Has anyone ever seen this?

Yes. I adjusted for parallax before the first shot. But I don't think that's how parallax manifests itself.

Is it Me? Has anyone ever seen this?

I recently took possession of a brand new Fierce Titanium Carbon in 300WM. I topped it off with a Leopold VX-6HD 3x18. Nightforce rings and a Piccatinny rail mount. The rings and bases have been Loctited. I shoot sitting from a bench, I use a Caldwell Tack Driver for the front rest and a...

    Hammered the 204 today

Found it. Sharp Shooter Supply 4970 Lehman Rd Delphos, OH 45833 419-695-3179 I did that about 9 years ago. I hope they are still around. I had problems feeding the 26gr. Barnes Varmint Grenades. After they did the work it feeds good. Good luck!

    Hammered the 204 today

I'm not home right now. I'll look tomorrow when I get back. I believe I got his information from the Savage shooters forum.

    Hammered the 204 today

I have that same Savage rifle. I also had feeding problems. It seems to be a known issue with that weapon. I ended up sending it to a gunsmith who specialized in Savages. He machined a small cone or feed ramp on the breech of the barrel. That fixed the feed issues. Good luck.

    Cooper Rifles

"Also I bought the 28 Nosler from large stocking Cooper dealer but the .300 Win Mag (new) off Gunbroker, if I’d had a problem with the 28 the dealer would have handled communication with Cooper and shipped it back. One disadvantage to buying off the internet. I need to push it with Cooper and...

    Wyoming 8 points

I just got back from hunting unit 96 in WY. I think my buddy and and I each had 8 points going into the draw in 2018. There are 5 NR tags and 50 total tags. The unit is about 160 square miles. He shot one the first day and I shot one the second. We both had time constraints. There were a...
