Start with H1000 and Retumbo. Max loads worked the best for me. I get 3150 fps avg. with the 250 scenars and 100 gr of Retumbo or H1000. These loads avg under 3/8" at 100 yards and is the hammer of Thor on mule deer!!!!

For my .338 Lapua in a Sako TRG-42 Retumbo works the best for me with 250 Scenar, and Fed 215m avg velocity is 3150 avg. This round gives me under 3/8" at 100 and I have been able to get 80% hit rates at 1500 yards and in a 12-15mph wind on a 20" gong. I can't say enough about the Lapua. I...
