    Pretty impressive from the 7 saum. This is with my “slow” 2690 fps load and a 175 Berger EH. Almost 1500 ft pounds at 600 yards if you are someone who subscribes to the energy minimum. 2890 is really impressive!

    That is awesome if you almost got to 2900. My 20” was most accurate at 2700 with h4831sc and the 175 eh. Still plenty for everything I would shoot out to 500ish.

    Had a little R to L wind today but got my Berger 140 EH load settled for my 6.5 SAUM at 3060. Was really happy with the 5 shot group from a Bipod and the low ES. Went to 600 and held the 0.5 MOA group which is about as good as I can shoot. I love SAUMs.

I may be wrong but I believe Unknown Munitions bottom metal is the only mag available that will allow the 3.150 length in a SA. Don’t buy a Hawkins bottom and expect to load at 3.150. I say go...

    Pretty sure the BAT vesper medium can run a 7 prc without issues. But they aren’t cheap….stick the Unknown Munitions bottom metal and it can handle a coal of 3.4” which would be plenty for a 7 prc/wsm/saum etc. Obviously can’t run a true long action but they make a LA for that. I have this...

    I personally think 20” is the Goldilocks length for the 7…..could even go 22” and still be ok with a suppressor. Either way you will love it. 👍

    I also love the 7mm….whether it is an 08, SAUM, 280ai, rem mag or any other flavor. the specific stocks I would recommend looking at and possibly trying to shoot are 1) Manners EH1 (old but just works) 2) Manners LRH/PH (will have an Arca and a pic rail for using a tripod/bipod down the road...
